The problem is that your character controls like they’ve just stepped off a spinning fairground ride. Every jump, stumble and awkward landing can send races spiralling into complete chaos, especially once hazards start appearing.
Some levels feature rising lava, while others challenge you with moving obstacles, crumbling paths, or risky jumps that often send players falling off the edge.
And because the movement system is deliberately messy, nobody is ever fully in control for long.
Built For Local Multiplayer Mayhem
Although you can play alone with time trials and compete on leaderboards, this game really shines when played with friends in the same room.
Up to four players can compete head-to-head on one screen, racing through increasingly challenging and wacky courses. They can also try to mess with each other along the way!
The biggest new feature is Party Mode, where players can set up obstacles on the track before the race begins. The idea is to build helpful shortcuts or defend your preferred path. But honestly, most players will likely just create chaotic setups and see what happens!
